About Groups

A Group is basically a way for people with a common interest to communicate and share in a more focused arena. Groups have the following benefits -

• A dedicated page to post general information about the group, what it is about, group rules and whatever other information is relevant.
• All Groups are open to all Stitcher's Showcase members to join, but members can be removed if they are disruptive in any way.
• There is a dedicated Discussion Forum for group members only. This forum can be moderated.
• If the Group is something like a club then a link to their own website can be displayed.
• If the Group has a specific location this can be defined and displayed.
• One or more members can be promoted to Administrator to help manage the Group, moderating the discussions, adding information to the Group page and so on.
• Messages can be broadcast just to Group members.
  

If you want us to create a specific group for your area of interest simply send me a message or use our Feedback form and send the following information -

• The groups name.
• A brief description of the group.
• If you have a website, the website address.
• You will need an image for the group. If you don't have one we will try to source a suitable image. I will send you an email address where you can send me any image you have.
  

We will create the group and administer the group as needed. If the Group is specific to something like a club, we will then make you an Administrator so you can look after the group yourself.
