What are your favorite stitching activities?

I love stitching pillowcases, especially with vintage patterns

Are there any stitching activities you would like to try or learn more about?

I'd like to do more counted cross stitch and am interested in making pincushions...

We live in Menifee, Ca...in a small valley with high mountains all around, very pretty and uncrowded.....with our two sons, 20 and 17. We've been married 35 years this December...

I've just been busy, finishing up some pillowcases, gardening and staying busy.....spring has come and our little nectarine tree is in full bloom..the peach is just behind it, but the apple always takes longer...the tomato plants have some tiny tomatoes developing and we are making salads now from the leaf lettuce. Spring and fall are the best times of year here.....the summers are terribly hot, over 100 most days but we enjoy the evenings.

Our little corner of heaven

I thought I would share a few photos of what our town and area looks like...since many of you are from Australia and England..Southern California isn't all beaches and sand....we live inland in a valley surrounded by mountains..

A new year

I can hardly believe its already the middle of January....I've been working on some redwork flour sack dishtowels for a customer......I have two done with 5 more to do so better keep at it...fun vintage pattern.
