- you are a very talented young lady and your work is just beautiful now i do my stitchery on 14 mesh canvas and not on cloth and i do the background for all my work its just a simple square 5 up and 4 across which makes a perfect square if you count 5 up then count the one on the side with the 4 ist a total of 10 hope this helps
